Within our office, we are able to repair minor issues on eye glasses, replace lost screws and readjust the frame to your face, usually while you wait. For more complicated repairs, or if we are unusually busy, it may be necessary that you leave your eye glasses with us for a day or two. If replacement parts need to be ordered this will also create delay. Please refer to our Warranty Policy for items that may be covered, otherwise there will be a fee for replaced parts.
All dress frames and lenses have a 1 Year Manufacturers Warranty. If the frame or lenses fail due to normal wear, we will cheerfully repair or replace the damaged part. Please understand that all parts of the glasses must be presented to our office for this warranty to be honored as we must return the failed part to receive credit from the manufacturer.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by pets, glasses driven over by the car, sat on by your significant other or even yourself, or other such accidents of life.
Generally we are able to obtain replacement eyeglass frame parts from manufacturers if the frame is no more than 2-3 years old. There is a cost for replacement parts for those glasses no longer under warranty.
Due to the harsh conditions of many work places where safety glasses are required, safety glasses are not covered under warranty. CSA standards dictate that safety frames may not be repaired, as CSA cannot be certain the frame will withstand work place conditions after repair.
